Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
We're committed to ensuring, as far as is reasonable and practicable, the security and safety of all students, staff, faculty, visitors, and contractors whilst using and accessing campus.
Adelphi University’sAnnual Security and Fire Safety Reportincludes statistics for the previous three calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Adelphi University; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from campus
The report also includesinstitutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, hate crimes, sexual assault includingTitle IX, Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013 (VAWA), domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, emergency operations plans including evacuation procedures, annual fire safety report and fire log, Amanda’s Law and the Kerry Rose Fire Sprinkler Notification Act, missing student notification, timely warnings and emergency notifications, and other matters.
This report may also be obtained upon request at the Department of Public Safety and Transportation.
