Food insecurity can be found anywhere—even on a college campus.
Adelphi’sPanther Pantrycan help, providing members of our community with basic food items, free of charge. The pantry addresses other needs, too, offering personal care products, clothing and household items. All are free for the asking. Just drop by the pantry or order online from our virtual menu. Either way, we’ll protect your privacy, as all pantry use is confidential.
Where We’re Located
The pantry is located on the lower level of Residence Hall A on Adelphi University’s main Garden City campus.
Virtual Menu
- Orders can only be placed online 24/7 by going toeCampusand selecting thePanther Pantryicon.
- Orders are filled throughout the week. You will receive an email notification when your order is ready for pick up.
- Orders can be picked up in the campus mailroom during regular mail room business hours.
All orders must be picked up within 5 days of receiving your confirmation email that your order has been filled or they will be returned to the pantry. If you need an extension for picking up your order please contactmhoffner@adelphi.edu

How Can You Help?
While the pantry doesn’t accept food donations, you can help by offering financial support.Give securely with a credit or debit cardonline. We accept cash as well as checks made payable to Adelphi University, with “Panther Pantry” written on the memo line.Donations should be delivered toThe Office of University Advancement at Nexus Building, Suite 200.员工也可以通过工资扣减方式捐款。
The pantry relies on volunteers to staff our physical location, distribute food, take orders and shelve items. If you’re interested in helping out, contact the Division of Student Affairs at 516.877.3660 ordivisionofstudentaffairs@adelphi.edu.
Help us make sure that everyone in our community knows about the pantry. Tell your friends and encourage those you know who may need assistance. Pantry use is confidential because our goal is to reach as many people as possible who are in need by respecting and supporting them.
Our Panther Pantry Outreach and Nutrition Team will also work to spread awareness of food insecurity and also give tips for nutritious and healthy meals to the Adelphi community.
