Despite the challenges of construction during a global pandemic, the new University Center (UC) is complete—and opens its doors to the community on January 18, 2021. We welcome you to explore our new light-filled UC—either in person or byviewing the photo galleries—and discover our beautiful new lobby and meeting spaces, improved student lounge, the reimagined Thomas Dixon Lovely Ballroom, our full-size Starbucks, expanded Dining Hall and outdoor terrace. More photos will be added of our expanded art gallery, new Adelphi Bookstore and other spaces as they become available.
Panther Paw Prints, Permanently in Place
On Dec. 5, 2019, hundreds of Panthers gathered to sign their names to a steel beam that was about to be added to the UC renovation construction project. You can see the beam today, just visible high in the ceiling above the west lobby.
