All About Global Studies
I was an international studies and French double major who also minored in Latin American studies. I loved my time at Adelphi University! The classes were small and I was given the opportunity to get to know my professors and classmates well. I completed my graduate degree abroad and can safely say that I was well prepared to succeed. I’m a professional translator and interpreter now and love what I do!

Minor
The minor in Latin American studies enhances a variety of majors that prepare you for a career in law, education, justice administration, healthcare, social work and business. A minor will increase your understanding of and cultural sensitivity to people from diverse backgrounds.
Scholar Teacher Education Program (STEP)
