Support for LGBTQA+ Students

The Student Counseling Center is a safe space for anyone who identifies as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer, or anyone who is questioning their own sexual orientation or gender identity. Students are encouraged to come in to talk with any of the counselors to help with the life-long journey of self-discovery.

Pride for Youth

With locations in Bellmore and Deer Park,Pride for Youthis a service and an advocate for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer/questioning (LGBTQ) young people through age 30. Their mission is to enhance the health, wellness and cultural competency of LGBTQ young people through education, support services and youth development. They serve New York State’s Nassau, Suffolk and Queens counties.
