Published:Mirirai Sithole has been working steadily since she graduated from Adelphi University in 2012 with a BFA in theater. Her acting credits include numerous off-Broadway productions, including School Girls: Or, the African Mean Girls Play. On television, she's had roles in Black Mirror, Broad City, and Russian Doll—and season two of the Natasha Lyonne series is now available on Netflix.

Growing up, Sarafina Bush ’12 always loved dance and theater. It seems preordained, as the daughter of Adelphi sociology professor Melanie Bush, PhD, she was named after the title character in the musical Sarafina!, which depicts the story of a group of South African students brave enough to participate in the Soweto riots against apartheid.

Harpist Skyla Budd '13, guitarist Daniel Moreno '13 and flutist Philip Lauto '15 were Adelphi music majors who became inspired to form a trio after performing “Seven Meditations on Tibet” by Carmen Moore—a piece that, according to Budd, “required the unusual instrumentation of a harp, guitar and flute. Due to that performance, we all realized what an interesting and unique sound we had and formed Trio Delphi.”
